TORONTO, December 19, 2017 – Helping Hands Healthcare is pleased to announce the appointment of John Fleming as Chairman of the organization’s Advisory Board. Mr. Fleming’s appointment is effective immediately.
Mr. Fleming is a widely acknowledged expert in governance, leadership, and public policy. Prior to establishing his own consulting practice and partnering with the Institute on Governance, he was a former Deputy Minister with various ministries of the Government of Ontario. He has held a wide-variety of senior roles including President and Chief Executive Officer of The Arthritis Society, and Chief Administrative Officer for both Halton Region and the City of London.
Mr. Fleming has served on numerous boards including Sheridan College, Halton Healthcare Services, and OMERS Sponsors Corporation, one of two governing boards of one of Canada’s largest pension plans.
