John Fleming appointed as Chairman of Helping Hands Healthcare Advisory Board

TORONTO, December 19, 2017 – Helping Hands Healthcare is pleased to announce the appointment of John Fleming as Chairman of the organization’s Advisory Board. Mr. Fleming’s appointment is effective immediately.

Mr. Fleming is a widely acknowledged expert in governance, leadership, and public policy. Prior to establishing his own consulting practice and partnering with the Institute on Governance, he was a former Deputy Minister with various ministries of the Government of Ontario. He has held a wide-variety of senior roles including President and Chief Executive Officer of The Arthritis Society, and Chief Administrative Officer for both Halton Region and the City of London.

Mr. Fleming has served on numerous boards including Sheridan College, Halton Healthcare Services, and OMERS Sponsors Corporation, one of two governing boards of one of Canada’s largest pension plans.

Helping Hands Healthcare launches innovative new “Loyalty Bonus Pay” program; Program rewards the company’s most dedicated staff

TORONTO, Aug. 2, 2017 – Helping Hands Healthcare has introduced a brand new pilot program offering financial rewards to the company’s most loyal, dedicated personal support workers, registered practical nurses and registered nurses.

“As the GTA’s premier health care staffing and personal care support organization, we are constantly looking for ways to thank our team for their dedication and loyalty. This is our way of sharing in the growth we continue to experience and to thank our professional staff for their hard work and contributions,” said Chris Albion, managing partner, Helping Hands Healthcare.

From July to September, staff who accumulate assignments during the quarter over a certain threshold will automatically be eligible to receive extra Loyalty Bonus payments for the level of hours worked.  The Loyalty Bonus Pay will be paid out at the end of the quarter.  Interested health care providers can contact coordinator@helpinghandsstaffing.ca for more information.
