Helping Hands Healthcare offers several different Healthcare services for various durations for your convenience, with shifts lasting a minimum 6 consecutive hours.
We have all healthcare professional disciplines available for your scheduling needs. Our goal is to maintain your, or your loved one’s independence no matter the circumstance. Our experience nurses and PSWs will be by your side every step of the way, designing a flexible schedule of care that is the perfect fit for your particular healthcare needs.
Sometimes a healthcare support visit is only needed for one-day. We can assist in your physiotherapy, surgical, mental health and all recovery needs. Our team will work with you to determine your short term needs and ensure you have the right staff by your side. Our professionals are available to support those needs with a minimum of six-hour assignments.
Sometimes all you need is a Helping Hand. Maintaining your independence and lifestyle is our top priority. Our caring professionals make it easy for you to keep your routine and give you more time for the things that you love. We can provide nurses, PSWs and other allied healthcare disciplines for all of your long term healthcare needs, both at home and in hospital.
We know how hard a hospital stay can be on you and your family, so Helping Hands Healthcare offers a unique Private Care option during that time. We have several, Hospital approved, healthcare professionals, ready to assist you during your Hospital stay. Our Nurses and Personal Support Workers are validated by all of our Hospital Partners and familiar with all units and current healthcare staff. Having additional care while in-hospital can improve your transition back home and can extend into private home care, should you choose.
Our helpful staff of nurses and personal support workers will provide you with individualized care after your surgery. This can include assisting with your personal care, daily living activities, monitoring for post-operative complications, administering medication, dressing changing, and much more.
The Nurses and Personal Support Staff at Helping Hands are all trained and well equipped to understand the unique skills needed when focusing on a patient needing mental health support. Our caregivers have extensive experience in crisis stabilization, respite care, psychogeriatrics, suicide watch, and more mental health related specialized care.
Our caregivers are skilled in assisting parents and families when caring for infants and children requiring medical attention. Our healthcare staff will provide your little one with specialized paediatric care if diagnosed with bacterial or viral infections, neurological disorders, cancer, blood disorders, developmental disabilities, cardiac conditions, and more.
Our experienced caregivers are trained in working with several areas of injury or trauma. Your specialized care program may include assistance transitioning from hospital to home, help with personal care and daily living activities, physical therapy or exercise programs, behaviour modification programs and more.
Helping Hands is a compassionate organization that supports our clients and their families during the difficult times when palliative care is needed. Our caregivers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help with pain management, support your decisions during end stage disease management, and consult physicians and other palliative care professionals when needed.
We understand the unique needs of a mother before, during and after childbirth and are privileged to be part of your journey. Helping Hands Healthcare provides trained and helpful healthcare staff that offers a wide range of pre and postnatal care to new and experienced mothers.

Home Care Services. Within a few days, we will be able to schedule a healthcare professional to come to your home and follow up diligently afterwards to ensure you are happy and well taken care of.
Follow Up. Once there is a routine in place for your healthcare needs, we will follow up on a daily basis in the short term to ensure you are satisfied, then schedule weekly or monthly touch points to ensure all your needs are met.
